Leopoldo Luis Cabo Penna Franca
Possui graduação em Engenharia Mecanica pela Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro (1981), mestrado em Engenharia Mecânica pela Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro (1983) e doutorado em Engenharia Mecanica - Stanford University (1987). Tem experiência na área de Engenharia Mecânica, com ênfase em Métodos Numéricos, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: metodos estabilizados para fluidos, acustica e solidos, metodos residual-free, e metodos enriquecidos para equacoes de transporte. E' membro do Advisory Board da IJNME e da CMAME.
