Graduação em Ciências Biológicas pela Universidade Santa Úrusla e Mestrado em Ciências Bioquímicas pela Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (2011). Larga experiência na área de Biologia Molecular, com ênfase em Genética e Virologia, atuando principalmente em: genotipagem do HIV por seqüenciamento automático; variabilidade genética; resistência genotípica do HIV à terapia antirretroviral (TARV). Experiência com políticas de saúde pública, atuando na redação e publicação de portarias e manuais técnicos, além de participar de reuniões de comitês nas área de DST/ Aids e Hepatites virais no Departamento de DSt/Aids e Hepatites Virais da Secretaria em Vigilância em Saúde no Ministério da Saúde.
