Michele Dalla Fontana
Ele é PhD em Planejamento Regional e Políticas Públicas pela Universidade IUAV de Veneza, Itália (2018). Sua tese de doutorado concentrou-se no conceito de nexo água-energia-alimentos. Em particular, ele se dedicou a identificar as conexões entre os setores de água, energia e alimentos nas cidades. O objetivo era entender quais são as principais oportunidades e barreiras na abordagem do "nexo urbano água-energia-alimentos". A pesquisa, construída sobre a metáfora do metabolismo urbano e sobre a abordagem da ecologia política urbana, pode ser ligada ao maior debate sobre a gestão de recursos nas cidades rumo ao desenvolvimento sustentável, mas também se concentra em questões de governança, política, equidade social. Ele é atualmente um pesquisador pós-doutorado da Universidade de São Paulo no âmbito do projeto GLOCULL - Globally and LOCally-sustainable food-water-energy innovation in Urban Living Labs (Belmontforum/FAPESP), trabalhando na análise da "Dinâmica local e conflitos sobre múltiplos interesses e usos na região do reservatório de Billing a partir da perspectiva da abordagem nexus".
Ele também é Mestre em Política e Planejamento para Cidades, Meio Ambiente e Paisagem pela Universidade IUAV de Veneza, Itália (2013); e bacharel em Geografia pela Universidade de Padova, Itália (2010).
