É graduado em Engenharia de Produção e Elétrica pela Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro (2004), Mestre em engenharia de Produção pela Universidade Estadual do Norte Fluminense Darcy Ribeiro (2007) e Doutor em Engenharia e Ciência dos Materiais pela Universidade Estadual do Norte Fluminense Darcy Ribeiro (2009) e Pós doutorado em Engenharia e Ciência dos Materiais pelo Instituto Militar de Engenharia do Rio de Janeiro, IME/RJ.
