I have been working at Electrolux since 2005. I've started as a trainee then worked in the R&D Laboratory (5 years) and currently I am a project leader on Advanced Product Development (7 years). During my career at Electrolux I worked in projects of great importance, including: ? Development of transmissions rate to washing machines. These transmissions were developed in a Chinese supplier and now a days they are applied globally; ? Innovative top load washing machine concept that washes using the spin bowl wall instead the traditional agitator; ? Global Vertical Axes Washing Concept. This project was led by me and involves a new way to wash and movement the load inside the drum. Using this concept Electrolux got advantage over competitors as it reduces drastically the use of water and energy during the washing cycle. The concept is being implemented in the global platforms in all continents. ? Portable Stain Pen. This was another project led by me and delivered to the regional R&D. During the development of these and others products, I always focus on the consumer perspective, running usability tests, consumer clinics and surveys. Working with innovation was always a pleasant challenge for me. Through the years in APD, I saw the necessity of increasing the knowledge range. With this objective, I was in charge of opening a new path of expertise using outside partners, mainly with universities. In addition to this experience I am dynamic, creative and with a great capacity for analysis. I also have the pro-activity and ability necessary to conceptualize new business and challenges.
