Ana Claudia Arias
A Profª. Drª. Ana C. Arias atua como professora no departamento de Engenharia Elétrica e Ciências Computacionais na Universidade da Califórnia (campus Berkeley, Estados Unidos da América) e atua como uma das diretoras do Berkeley Wireless Research Center (BWRC). Sua área de pesquisa é a Eletrônica Orgânica com ênfase em materiais processados a partir de soluções para aplicação em sistemas eletrônicos flexíveis, sendo que parte do seu atual grupo de pesquisa dedica-se ao desenvolvimento de dispositivos fotovoltaicos flexíveis. A Prof Ana C. Arias e membra da diretoria técnica de duas empresas, ThinFilm Electronics e Linde Nanomaterials. Antes de tornar-se professora em Berkeley, Ana atuou por 10 anos como pesquisadora e líder de projetos de pesquisa e desenvolvimento na indústria; Plastic Logic e Xerox. Ana Claudia Arias adquiriu doutorado em Física no Cavendish Laboratory na Universidade de Cambridge no Inglaterra. Ana Claudia possui mestrado, bacharelado e licenciatura em Física pela Universidade Federal do Parana.
