Atualmente é PhD student do Instituto de Medicina Molecular, Faculdade de Medicina, Universidade de Lisboa. Tem experiência na área de Bioquímica Médica/Biofísica, com ênfase no desenvolvimento de novos fármacos, como peptideos antimicrobianos e anticancer.
