Pedro Acevedo

Curador e pesquisador do US National Herbarium no National Museum of Natural History - Smithsonian Institution, Washington DC. Possui graduação pela Inter-American University Of Puerto Rico (1977) e doutorado concluído na City University of New York (1989). Atualmente é também pesquisador associado a Fairchild Tropical Botanical Garden. Tem experiência na área de Botânica, com ênfase em Taxonomia de Fanerógamos com a maior parte de seus estudos dedicados a familia Sapindaceae. Membro da American Society of Plant Taxonomists, International Association of Plant Taxonomists, Latin-American Botanical Society e Organization for Flora Neotropica.
