Cross-modal Learning (CROSS), Descrição: CROSS é um projeto que tem como objetivo iniciar a integração entre pesquisas das ciências da vida (neurociência e psicologia) e ciência da computação com uma parceria entre Hamburgo e Pequim. O projeto define uma pesquisa colaborativa de cunho interdisciplinar entre inteligência artificial, neurociência e psicologia enquanto foca em tópicos em aprendizagem cros-modalidades. SECURE, SAFETY ENABLES COOPERATION IN UNCERTAIN ROBOTIC ENVIRONMENTS, Descrição: A maior parte da utilização de robôs na indústria diz respeito aos robôs pré-programáveis trabalhando em zonas seguras com alertas visuais e sonoros e pouco conceito de sensibilização para a segurança inteligente necessária para ambientes humanos ou domésticos dinâmicos e imprevisíveis. No futuro, novos acompanhantes robóticos com capacidade cognitiva serão desenvolvidos, indo desde robôs para serviços até humanóides, os quais devem estar aptos para aprender com o usuário e se adaptar a contextos dinâmicos. Tal desenvolvimento irá levar a novos desafios de cooperação e segurança entre humanos e robôs, indo além do estado-da-arte atual. O projeto SECURE tem por objetivo o treinamento de uma nova geração de pesquisadores em conceitos de robôs cognitivos seguros. A área de domínio do treinamento irá integrar conceitos multidisciplinaresc dos campos de interação cognitiva humano-robô, ciência da computação e robótica inteligente onde uma nova abordagem de integrar princípios de realização, situação e interação será perseguido para enfrentar futuros desafios para ambientes humanos-robôs seguros.
