Luciana Silva Monteiro Sanders

Tenho experiência nas áreas de Geociências, Biogeoquímica Ambiental, Ecologia de Ecossistemas Aquáticos, especificamente em temas relacionados ao ciclo do carbono e gases de efeito estufa (CO2 e CH4). A minha formação está relacionada com a investigação em zonas húmidas (wetlands) de água doce e marinha. Experiência com ênfase principalmente nos seguintes temas: taxas de acumulação, deposição atmosférica, eutrofização costeira e uso de traçadores de radionuclídeos. Possuo também vasta experiência na área de radioecologia, e no desenvolvimento de atividades de coleta, processamento e análise de sedimentos, águas costeiras e subterrâneas. Também trabalho em pesquisa, determinando elementos traço, teor de matéria orgânica e isótopos estáveis de carbono, além de processamento de água da chuva para determinar taxas de deposição através de traçadores de radioisótopos. Na minha experiência, acumulo conhecimento técnico com conhecimento em Gestão de Pessoas, Gestão Ambiental com foco em Logística Ambiental na área da Agricultura, como Gestão de Efeito Estufa, Administração e Impactos Financeiros. Acredito firmemente que a pesquisa de alta qualidade em ciências ambientais só pode ser alcançada em grupos que tenham objetivos semelhantes, formação complementar e responsabilidades bem definidas. Acredito que grupos de sucesso podem crescer cientificamente compartilhando informações e buscando atingir os objetivos da equipe e medidas que inspirem novos grupos de estudantes indígenas e não indígenas. Durante meus projetos de dissertação de mestrado e doutorado, incluí colaborações com comunidades indígenas locais no Brasil. A iniciativa foi incentivar o governo com investimento financeiro e, ao mesmo tempo, inspirar a comunidade indígena a participar de programas de educação ambiental. Essa conexão contribuiu para a saúde ambiental, saúde pessoal, com o objetivo de melhorar as condições educacionais e psicológicas dos povos indígenas, bem como na economia governamental. Também tenho um alto nível de experiência com instalações de detectores gama, sendo qualificado pela Canberra Inc, Massachusetts, EUA.

Fatores químicos e físicos como diagnóstico ambiental de estuário tropical impactado por elementos-traço: uma investigação holística (sedimento, água e biota) no sistema estuarino de Santos-Cubatão (SP), Descrição: Descrição: O presente projeto (Processo FAPESP # 08-11511-8) visa identificar os fatores físicos e químicos temporais reguladores da partição de multi-elementos na interface sedimento-água-biota de um ambiente estuarino tropical impactado (sistema estuarino de Santos-Cubatão), considerando um ciclo anual de amostragem. Em adição, o estudo almeja avaliar o potencial de exportação hídrica (particulados e dissolvidos) dos contaminantes dentro do sistema estuarino como um todo. Para alcançar os objetivos, o sistema estuarino de Santos-Cubatão será investigado por meio de medição contínua e em tempo real de parâmetros físico-químicos do ambiente aquático-sedimentar; geoquímica de águas intersticiais obtidas por equilíbrio difusivo in situ; geoquímica de águas superficiais (dissolvidos e particulados); dosagem de metais em animais aquáticos; quantificação de AVS-SEM (sulfetos volatilizáveis por acidificação e metais simultaneamente extraídos), extrações químicas seqüenciais, caracterizações mineralógica, granulométrica, e do conteúdo de carbono orgânico total em sedimentos; e geoquímica de isótopos instáveis como traçadores de contaminação entre sedimento e biota..
