Eduardo Gardenali Yukihara

Doutor pelo Instituto de Física da Universidade de São Paulo (Brasil) e pós-doutorado no Departamento de Física da Universidade Estatal de Oklahoma (Estados Unidos), onde se tornou Professor e liderou um grupo de pesquisa produtivo e bem financiado durante 15 anos, tendo atingido o nível de "Full Professor". Obteve a Bolsa para Investigadores Experientes da Fundação Alexander von Humboldt para realizar pesquisas durante um ano no Centro Alemão de Investigação de Câncer em Heidelberg (Alemanha). Está agora no Instituto Paul Scherrer, onde é o Chefe da Secção de Metrologia da Radiação e do Grupo de Dosimetria. A sua investigação é na área da dosimetria de radiação ionizante e detectores de luminescência, incluindo dosimetria espacial, dosimetria de nêutrons, dosimetria pessoal, termoluminescência e luminescência opticamente estimulada.
