  The Organic cotton production network in Brazil: drivers for the textile and clothing sector, Descrição: Organic cotton is the main eco-material used by sustainable apparel brands. At the same time, the cotton crop has great economic importance in Brazil, as it can be cultivated in various conditions of climate and soils. Brazilian textile and clothing sector include all the chain, from raw material production, yarn and textile manufacturing, clothing construction, distribution, marketing, retail to customers. But even the country being the fourth largest international producer of traditional cotton, the organic cultivation, still has limited volume. Although being a market demanding fibre, there is a lack in understanding its supply, that might be disrupting its potential development. Therefore, this research consists in a value network analyses to understand and provide an information flow of processes, stakeholders and its relationships. Being the main clusters (1) cotton-growers/ginning, (2) mills/textile manufacturing, (3) clothing brands/retail (4) market/customers.
