Bacharel em Ciências Biológicas pela Universidade Estadual do Norte Fluminense Darcy Ribeiro - UENF (2013), Mestra em Genética e Melhoramento de Plantas pela UENF (2015) e Doutora em Genética e Melhoramento de Plantas com ênfase em Análise Genômica pela UENF (2021). Realizou Doutorado sanduíche no Institute for Molecular Bioscience,The University of Queensland (2020), Capacitação Técnica em Melhoramento Vegetal e Propriedade Intelectual na Agricultura na UENF (2017), Curso de Proteômica pelo centro Brasileiro-Argentino de Biotecnologia, na Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina -UFSC (2017) e Capacitação Técnica no Laboratório de Genética Vegetal, UENF (2016). Esta pesquisadora atua na área de Bioquímica de Proteínas e tem experiência nos seguintes temas: isolamento e caracterização de proteínas vegetais, incluindo peptídeos antimicrobianos e proteínas Prs, teste de avaliação de peptídeos bioativos frente ao crescimento de microrganismos fitopatogênicas e de interesse médico, mecanismo de ação de peptídeos vegetais, fisiologia de microrganismos e melhoramento vegetal.
