  Florestas familiares, Descrição: O projeto florestas familiares é uma parceria entre o Instituto de Pesquisa Ambiental da Amazônia (IPAM), a Fundação Floresta Tropical (FFT), a Fundação Viver Produzir e Preservar (FVPP), e a União das Entidades Florestais do Estado do Pará (UNIFLOR). Essa parceria combina instituições líderes na pesquisa e treinamento sobre manejo florestal, representações sociais que congregam todos os sindicatos de trabalhadores rurais da região de influência das rodovias Transamazônica e Santarém-Cuiabá (mais de 40 mil famílias) e representações empresariais que representam todos os sindicatos de empresas madeireiras do Estado do Pará (mais de 500 empresas madeireiras). O projeto tem como objetivo: 1. testar, refinar e disseminar modelos de gestão florestal em propriedades de agricultores familiares; 2.
