  Living in a Smart Environment - Implications of Ubiqutious Computing, Descrição: An interdisciplinary research project that brought together researchers from seven universities with various backgrounds: computer science, electrical engineering, psychology, law studies, economy, sociology, and philosophy. They jointly investigate the possible consequences (both opportunities and challenges) of the anticipated large-scale deployment of ubiquitous computing technologies. The aim of the project was twofold: On the one hand, by bringing together humanists and technology developers, the former have been informed about the newest technological developments and the latter could learn about their concerns and reserves about these developments.
