Andrée Fortin

I am a graduate in Business Administration,
Computer Systems Management and Health Sciences with 17 years of professional
experience at the National and International level. I have extensive
experience in Knowledge Management, Project Life Cycle Development, Project
Implementation, and support to Knowledge Exchange. I am known for facilitating
 development and implementation of complex program components and my main skill
 is my facility in bringing people together to share a common objective, obtain
buy-in when opinions diverge, and coordinating / monitoring project activities in
both technical and social program areas. I worked in the project management filed, I have indebt experience in
the administrative filed and finance area. 
I have, therefore, a good communication and ability to manage
 administrative processes; For the last seven years, I have invested myself in works and consultancies
in the areas of knowledge exchange and in the Sustainable Development with the UN and other International Organizations
such as the IRD and the CIRAD. From 2007, I have worked at creating
 cooperation opportunities with scientists and researchers in the area of
Sustainable Development and proposed triangular projects with the FAO and the
Brazilian Government. I participated in joint EU/LAC missions in the
Amazonian Basin on Global Warming and Impact on Populations. My interest is also in the Chemical Safety area. I revise texts
for further publishing in Scientific English Reviews and I have developed a
pedagogical tool vulgarising/simplifying the understanding of science research
and field missions to be used in the Latin American schooling system (Spanish
and Portuguese speaking Countries). I addition to
my work related activities, I contribute to the UN community in Brazil with
 volunteer work; I am a founding member of the United Nations Local Expatriates
 Spouses Association (UN/BRALESA). Since December 2008,
I am the president of the association.
