Possui graduação em Biologia e Genetica pela Universidade Federal de Novosibirsk(1968) e doutorado em Genética de Desenvolvimento pelo Instituto de Citologia e Genética(1995). Atualmente é da Universidade de São Paulo. Tem experiência na área de Genética, com ênfase em Genética Animal.
