Projetos de pesquisa

  • 2009 - 2011

Sustainable assessment of cracking for concrete infrastructures, Descrição: This project is a joint project with several research institutes in France. The work that is being done at 3S-R is along two main lines. Firstly, stochastic approaches are applied to determine the output variability on variables of interest according to input variability, for instance variation of the crack opening as a function of uncertainties on material strength. Secondly, nonlocal approach is modified to improve the modelling close to failure. Nonlocal techniques smeared the cracking over a band of finite width related to the internal length introduced in the model. The idea developed at 3S-R is to modify the interaction domain such as at the end of the failure process, the local strain profile, for instance, is closer to a strong discontinuity profile.. , Situação: Em andamento; Natureza: Pesquisa. , Integrantes: Frédéric Dufour - Coordenador.

Behaviour and assessment of specific structures, shrinkage - creep, Descrição: This joint project including the French majors in civil engineering (Vinci, Bouygues, EDF, Eiffage, etc.), some research organisation (CEA, CSTB) and universities aims at making progress in the European design code EuroCode 2 dedicated to the design of concrete structures. Mainly specific structures due to their size, their loading or their environment are dealt with. The development made in Mefisto will be applied to real cases tested during CEOS.fr project. Numerical modelling in a multiscale fashion will be provided using multi-fiber models.. , Situação: Em andamento; Natureza: Pesquisa. , Integrantes: Frédéric Dufour - Coordenador.
