Atualmente é 'Fellow' no Institute of Development Studies, University of Sussex e pesquisador visitante no CEBRAP, Sao Paulo. Tem experiência na área de Ciência Política, com ênfase em Estado e Governo, Teoria Democratica, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: 'historical institutionalism,' movimentos sociais e sociedade civil, direito alternativo, participacao politica e representação política.
