Michael Katanaev
Possui Graduação em Física por Moscow State Engineering Physical Institute (1978), Mestrado em Física por Tomsk State University (1981) , e é Doutor em Ciências por Steklov Mathematical Institute (1985). Atualmente é professor adjunto do Steklov Mathematical Institute. Tem experiência na área de Física Teórica, com ênfase em Teoria Geral de Partículas e Campos, e Gravitação, atuando principalmente nas seguintes linhas de pesquisas: gravitação em duas dimensões, soluções globais da gravitação, teoria geométrica dos defeitos em sólidos, dinâminca da torção e dinâmica da geometria.
