Christine Marie Denise Vauthier

The contribution of Christine Vauthier is found in nanomedicines. Her group is known for her work on the preparation, characterization and evaluation of the delivery potential of drugs using polymer nanoparticles delivering siRNA, peptides and poorly soluble anticancer drugs by oral and intravenous routes. Her group is also known for the efforts in fundamental studies based on a multidisciplinary approach that have provided valuable results on the understanding of nanoparticle-biological interactions that are keys to control in vivo fate of delivery systems hence to design safe and efficient nanomedicines on rational basis. Recently, the group has provided a new contribution to the domain of nanomedicines introducing nanometrology methodologies. It proposed strategies to achieve the validation of several protocols for the evaluation of key physicochemical parameters that define nanomaterials and performed the corresponding validations. hindex on 14 March 2017: 42.
