Les travaux men es s'inscrivent principalement dans les th ematiques de la v erifi cation et la validation des mod eles. Ils visent a contr^oler les mod eles math ematiques et num eriques utilis es pour la repr esentation et la simulation de ph enom enes physiques, particuli erement dans le cadre de l'ing enierie m ecanique. Un aspect essentiel des outils d evelopp es est qu'ils sont d edi es a la pr ediction ne de quantit es d'int er^et pouvant servir au dimensionnement m ecanique. Il visent alors a construire des mod eles a moindre co^ut mais su samment pr ecis pour l'objectif vis e. 1) V eri cation des mod eles el ements nis - D eveloppement d'estimateurs d'erreur globale/locale garantis; -Techniques de reconstruction de champs equilibr es; -Approches non-intrusives pour l'encadrement d'erreur sur des quantit es d'int er^et; -Applications aux probl emes classiques de l'ing enierie m ecanique; 2) R eduction de mod ele et contr^ole de l'erreur associ ee - Couplages multi- echelles; -Bases r eduites et techniques de s eparation de variables; -Contr^ole des mod eles r eduits vis- a-vis de quantit es d'int er^et; 3) Validation et recalage des mod eles -Identi cation/recalage par l'erreur en relation de comportement modi ee; -Validation de mod ele pour des quantit es d'int er^et; -Validation en temps r eel et dialogue essais/calculs; -Quanti cation des incertitudes;
