Kazadi Wa Mukuna

Possui mestrado em Mestrado em Etnomusicologia - University Of California At Los Angeles (1974), doutorado em Doutorado em Sociologia pela Universidade de São Paulo (1977) e doutorado em Doutorado em Etnomusicologia - University Of California At Los Angeles (1978). Atualmente é professor titular - Kent State University. Tem experiência na área de Artes, com ênfase em Etnomusicologia, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: africanismo, etnomusicologia, musica traditional africana e música popular. Orientador no Programa de Pós-Graduação Interunidades de Estética e História da Arte, e no Programa de Pós-Graduação em Integração da América Latina (PROLAM/ USP). Professor visitante no Programa de Pós-Graduação no Departamento de Antropologia (USP) e no Departamento de Musica (UNIRIO)
