Charlotte Jacobs

After acquiring my Master in History (2008) and my Master in Law (2011) I went to Brazil to do an internship at the Belgian Embassy in Brasília. It was a wonderful experience. Combined with the internship at the Belgian Embassy at the United Nations (NY) I learned a lot on the practice of diplomacy and international law. The period in Brazil made me curious to know the country better and I went back first as a volunteer and later I could work in the import sector. I found out that my real passion is to keep studying and learning, so I started first the Master in Business Administration at FGV-EBAPE to later enroll in the Phd program. My main research area for now is the drivers of corporate venture capital, with a special focus on the oil sector.
