Jean-François Férard

Formado em Bioquimica pela Universidade de Strasbourg (França). Mestrado e Doutorado em Toxicologia do Meio-Ambiente pela Universidade de Metz (França). Atualmente ocupa o cargo de Professor Emérito de Ecotoxicologia na Universidade da Lorena (Metz, França). Publicou mais de 100 artigos científicos. Co-autor de varios livros e autor principal da Encyclopedia of Aquatic Ecotoxicology (Springer Reference). Revisor de mais de 100 periodicos internacionais e orientador de mais de 40 trabalhos de pós-graduação. Consultor técnico da USEPA, Environment Canada, OCDE, AFNOR, ISO e ECHA (Agência Européia de Produtos Químicos). Ex-Diretor Científico do Laboratório Interdisciplinar de Águas Continentais e ex-Coordenador do Programa de Pós-Graduação da Universidade de Lorena, Presidente da Comissão de Cooperação Université de Lorraine com a Tunísia.Ex-Professor Visitante na Universidade do Vale do Itajaí.
