Space utilization of white sharks in South African waters using satellite technology, Descrição: The medium and large scale temporal and spatial dynamics of great white sharks (a protected species in South Africa) were studied using satellite tags. Age and growth of sharks in the Campeche Bank, Mexico, Descrição: This project aimed at obtaining biological information essential for management of commercially exploited shark species in the Campeche Bank, Mexico. Vertebrae of sharks from 15 species were collected from commercial catches. The samples of the main species Carcharhinus falciformis were cut and stained. Growth rings were counted and the ages determined.
