I received my PhD. at Masaryk University in the Czech Republic (Europe) in 2002. I study fish evolutionary ecology. I am currently Special Visiting Scientist at Unisinos, Sao Leopoldo, Rio Grande do Sul, working with Leonardo Maltchik García (2014-2017).
