Jose Francisco Gomes

Possui graduação em Fisica pela Universidade de São Paulo (1979), Mestrado em Fisica (IFT) pela Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (1982) e Doutorado em Fisica (PhD) - Imperial College Of Science And Technology (1987), Livre Docência pela Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (2002) . Atualmente é Professor Pesquisador III (MS6) do Instituto de Fisica Teorica, IFT-Unesp da Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho. Tem experiência na área de Física, com ênfase em Métodos Matemáticos da Física, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: Modelos Integraveis, Algebras de Kac-Moody, Solitons, Invariancia Conforme.

Hierarquias Integraveis, Solitons e Algebras Infinitas, Descrição: Projeto Fapesp 2024/03009-3 Este projeto visa dar continuidade ao estudo de Hierarquias Integraveis que temos desenvolvido nos ultimos anos. Esta consiste num conjunto de equacoes nao-lineares (integraveis) construidas em termos de uma estrutura algebrica afim introduzida atraves da chamada representacao de curvatura nula. Os metodos algebricos utilizados sao sistematicos e suficientemente gerais para a constru\cao de uma serie de equacoes de evolucao temporal. As solucoes soliton, por sua vez sao construidas e classificadas em termos de representacoes destas algebras afins. Defeitos Integraveis, Solitons e Transformacoes de Backlund., Descrição: Proj Fapesp No. 2021/14072-0, Este projeto visa estudar a estrutura de uma classe de equacoes nao-lineares (integraveis) construidas em termos de uma estrutura algebrica afim e a chamada representacao de curvatura nula. Os metodos algebricos utilizados sao sistematicos e suficientemente gerais para a construcao de uma serie de equacoes de evolucao temporal denominada de hierarquia, suas solucoes soliton e as chamadas equacoes de Backlund. Hierarquias Integraveis, Solitons e Algebras Infinitas, Descrição: Projeto Auxilio a Pesquisa- Fapesp - 2017/25044-1 - Este projeto visa estudar a estrutura de uma classe de equacoes n~ao-lineares construidas em termos de uma estrutura algebrica afim e a chamada representacao de curvatura nula. Os metodos algebricos utilizados sao sistem\'aticos e suficientemente gerais para a constru\cao de uma s\'erie de equa\coes de evolu\cao temporal denominada de hierarquia, suas solu\coes s\'oliton e as chamadas equa\coes de Backlund. Essas ultimas s\~ao utilizadas no formalismo da descri\cao de {\it defeitos integr\'aveis} que descreve a interpola\cao de duas solu\coes s\'oliton. Este projeto visa tamb\'em estudar vers\~oes quantizadas destes modelos na sua forma discretizada e da sua rela\cao com as transforma\coes de Backlund. Seguindo essa mesma linha de pensamento, estudaremos tamb\'em cadeias de spin abertas associadas a algebras torcidas.
