Igor Zornitta Zanella

Igor Zornitta Zanella is a chemical engineer with a strong focus on energy efficiency and renewable energy. He holds a dual academic background: a degree in Ressources, Conversion et Efficacité Énergétique from École des Mines d'Albi-Carmaux (2016), in France, and a Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering from Universidade Estadual de Maringá (2019), in Brazil.Since 2012, Igor has been engaged in scientific and technological research focused on sustainable energy solutions. His early work led to the development of EcoTorque, an innovative hydrogen-based system to improve diesel engine efficiency, which earned a green patent and laid the foundation for a broader innovation journey.He is the founder and CEO of LZ Energia, a deeptech startup focused on developing advanced hydrogen-based solutions for industrial decarbonization. Under his leadership, LZ Energia became a national reference in applied hydrogen technologies, evolving into a robust RD platform.
