Kyan James Allahdadi

Graduado em Biologia com doutorado em fisiologia e biologia celular pela Universidade do Novo México (EUA, 2006). Cursou pós-doutorado no Instituto de Ciências Biológicas da Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais durante o ano de 2007, sendo em seguida transferido para o Georgia Health Sciences University, EUA por dois anos e meio. Em 2010, mudou-se para a University of North Texas Health Science Center, EUA, onde realizou um segundo pós-doutorado, além de atuar como professor nas disciplinas de fisiologia e anatomia no Tarrant County College (Texes, EUA). Até 2012, atuou como professor dos cursos de fisioterapia e enfermagem da Faculdade Adventista da Bahia (Salvador, Bahia). De 2012 até novembro de 2020, era pesquisador contratado no Centro de Pesquisas em Biotecnologia e Terapia Celular (CBTC) do Hospital São Rafael (Salvador, Bahia). Tem ampla experiência na área de Fisiologia, com ênfase em Fisiologia Cardiovascular (doenças cardiovasculares, diabetes, obesidade, disfunção sexual) e em microscopia confocal. Nos últimos anos, tem trabalhado com terapia celular como intervenção para o trauma raqui-medular, doença de Chagas e obesidade em modelos animais, orientando alunos e coordenando projetos de pesquisa. Juntos com pesquisa, atua como professor na Escola Concept (Salvador, Bahia).
