Quaid Zaman

Quaid Zaman received BSc degree (2008) in Physics/Mathematics and Masters degree (2010) in Physics from University of Peshawar, Pakistan. He has obtained his Master of Philosophy (M.Phil) degree in Physics, at Quaid-I-Azam University Islamabad, Pakistan (2010), in the area of Quantum information theory. He obtained his Ph.D. degree (2019) at Dept. of Physics, PUC-Rio Brazil. The central theme of the Ph.D. thesis was to find new low damping multilayered plasmonics structures for the sensing and optical characterization of nanocomposites, organic materials, and 2-D materials. My actual research interest is focused on the fabrication of Mano and multimodal SPR platforms for the enhancement of the resolution of SPR sensors using the particle amplified SPR spectroscopy and the emerging hybrid metal-graphene meta -interfaces.
