This job provided me great knowledge and interest in the Educational field. At WIZARD I had the opportunity to taught English to kids, teenagers and adults during a year and a half, using the methodology from Pearson.

Within this experience I had since day one a great deal of responsibilities, due to the fact that the main owner, my former superior, did not speak English. During this period I got in touch with the international trade business and later started my second graduation in it. After two months working in the company I had the opportunity to take part in an international fair called CURVEXPO in New York, it was a great experience and I grow a lot during the time I worked at BMB.

I spent six weeks volunteering in Romania on a project named Winter Vitamins, during that time me and other three volunteers from different nationalities designed sessions for middle-school teenagers on different topics, in order to stimulate their creativity, improve their English skills and raise awareness about multiculturalism and world issues. The project gave me a great sense of empathy and world diversity, it also made me fall in love with Romania?s people and culture. There were not only Brazilian?s volunteers on AIESEC Brasov, during my season students from several different countries such as , Indonesia, China, Turkey and Ukraine, were also conducting their own projects in the LC (local committee). Getting to know them and their culture opened my mind to issues and perspectives that had never crossed my mind before that experience.

This was my first extra-curriculum experience in college, I started the recruitment process right at the beginning of my first period and during a year and a half, the Junior Company was one of the best experience that the university could provide me. This volunteering experience taught me a lot about the labor market and professionalism, how to behave and business procedures. The junior companies allow students to make mistakes and learn from it, as well as putting into practice the theory learned in the classroom.
