  Análise de tecido adiposo de pacientes com obesidade mórbida, submetidos a cirurgia bariátrica, quanto à possível presença do adenovírus adipogênico 36., Descrição: Até recentemente, a obesidade era considerada uma condição que afetava predominantemente populações de países desenvolvidos. Nas últimas décadas aumento dramático da prevalência de obesidade ocorreu também em países em desenvolvimento, como Argentina e Brasil. Os principais elementos geralmente responsabilizados pela epidemia mundial de obesidade são o aumento de ingesta, principalmente de gordura de origem animal e da diminuição de atividade física decorrentes do atual modelo de vida comum no ocidente.   Direct Potable Water Reuse in Small-to-Medium-Sized Inland Communities: Lessons Learned for Public Education and Outreach, Descrição: Direct potable reuse (DPR) holds promise for improving reliability of potable water supplies by generating drinking water from wastewater. While some scholars have focused on individual disgust at drinking purified wastewater as the explanation for opposition to ? and in some cases rejection of ? DPR projects, this study demonstrates that explanations for acceptance or rejection of DPR are more complicated. Using insights from the literature and interviews with water managers from communities where DPR achieved public acceptance, we make these recommendations to water managers who are considering implementation of DPR: (1) Create an ongoing public outreach and education program on water scarcity, conservation, and reuse; (2) Maintain timely communication and community involvement when introducing the possibility of DPR; (3) Gain public trust by being upfront, proactive, and transparent about the potential project; and (4) Engage and work closely with the media to ensure that accurate information is available to the public.. , Situação: Concluído; Natureza: Pesquisa. , Integrantes: Claudia Beatriz Pratesi - Integrante / Caroline E.
