Mihai Andrei Leaha

Mihai Andrei Leaha, PhD. is an independent audio-visual researcher based in Cluj Napoca, Romania. He has been active in the field of Visual Anthropology in his country and beyond, producing and directing documentaries, organizing film festivals and workshops, participating at conferences and writing articles in peer reviewd journals. He is also an invited lecturer at the Babes ?Bolyai University of Cluj, Sociology department where he teaches a practice based Visual Anthropology course. In 2008, he founded Triba Film and independent documentary production company that produced international award winning anthropological films such as Valley of Sighs 2013 and Babaluda 2012. In 2014 he founded CEVA (Center for Visual and Anthropological Education) though which he initiated and organized innovative and practical educational programs, which involve the use of film, photography and anthropology.
