Marcelo Irajá de Araujo Hoffman

Marcelo Hoffman é professor do departamento de ciência política da Universidade Pace em Nova York. É autor de três livros, Foucault in Brazil: Dictatorship, Resistance, and Solidarity (University of Pittsburgh Press, 2024), Militant Acts: The Role of Investigations in Radical Political Struggles (State University of New York Press, 2019) e Foucault and Power: The Influence of Political Engagement on Theories of Power (Bloomsbury, 2014). É também autor de diversos artigos e capítulos de livros. Possui graduação em Ciência Política - Earlham College (1995), mestrado em Assuntos Internacionais - American University (1998) e doutorado em Estudos Internacionais - University of Denver (2006). Tem experiência na área de Ciência Política, com ênfase em Teoria Política, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: Michel Foucault, Marxismo, a política brasileira e a história das enquetes militantes.
