Daniel A Henk

Possui doutorado em Biology - Duke University (2005). Tem experiência na área de Microbiologia, com ênfase em Micologia. Professor de Ecologia Molecular no Departamento de Biologia e Bioquímica da Universidade de Bath/Inglaterra (2012-atual). Pós-doutorado no Departamento de Epidemiologia de Doenças Infecciosas, Imperial College London (2007-2012). Pós-doutorado em USDA, ARS, Botânica Sistemática e Laboratório de Micologia (2006-2007). Sua linha de pesquisa concentra-se na evolução e ecologia de fungos através de seu amplo espectro de funções nos ecossistemas e as vidas humanas. Utiliza principalmente a genômica, e tem atualmente dois principais eixos de pesquisa: - identificar comunidades fúngicas em saudáveis, doentes e ambientes em mudança e determinar as vias genômicas de evolução de fungos em resposta à variações ambientais bióticas e abióticas.
