Rogerio Pessoto Hirata

Possui graduação em Bacharelado em Educação Física pela Universidade de São Paulo (2002), mestrado em Educação Física pela Universidade de São Paulo (2006) e doutorado em Clinical Science - Aalborg University (2011). Atualmente é professor Associado- Aalborg University e orientador de graduacao - University College Nordjylland. Tem experiência na área de Educação Física, com ênfase em Educação Física, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: dinâmica inversa, cinemática, lesão, idoso e agachamento. Atualmente tem estreita colaboracao com o hospital de Aalborg e o departamento de fisioterapia, onde clinical trails estao sendo realizadas para avaliar diferentes modelos de reabilitacao para pacientes com dor cronica no joelho. Researcher at 'Instituto VITA' (a private medical clinic). In this job, I was responsible for the Biomechanics Laboratory. My main function was to provide technical support for the biomechanical studies with force platforms, Video cameras and F-scan Mobile (foot pressure). The processing/analyzing of all the data produced are made by Matlab routines, written by myself. The main goal of this laboratory is to apply the biomechanics into clinical problems, helping the diagnostic and improving the rehabilitation of our patients. Additionally, I have taught Biostatistics, Motor Control and Biomechanics for the specialization course at Instituto Vita.
