Trabalhou na Edinburgh Napier University, Grã Bretanha, como Research Fellow (2012-2014). Realizou pós-doutorado (2010-2012), com bolsa de pesquisa do Cnpq, no Institudo de Ciências Biológicas (ICB) - Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (UFMG). Doutora (PhD) em Ciência do Esporte e Biomedicina (2009) pela Edinburgh Napier University. Mestre (MSc) em Fisiologia do Exercício(2006) pela Loughborough University - Grã Bretanha. Bacharel e licenciada em Educação Física (2004) pela UFMG. Tem experiência em pesquisa e ensino nas áreas de Treinamento, Fisiologia e Imunologia do Exercício, com ênfase em: influência da atividade física na saúde; termorregulação; exercício e sistema imunológico; efeito da poluição na performance e no sistema respiratório; efeito de antioxidantes no sistema imunológico e estresse oxidativo de atletas.

Efeitos de colostro Bovino na inflamação e estresse oxidativo sistêmico e pulmonar de ciclistas pedalando em um ambiente quente e poluído, Descrição: Esse projeto investiga os efeitos do suplemento colostro bovino ingerido agudamente e crônicamente (14 dias) no organismo de ciclistas pedalando em um ambiente quente (26 graus) úmido (70%) e poluído (0.01ppm de ozônio).
