André Gasparotto Pelosi

Nowdays, Im working as Biophotonics Researcher Analyst where my focus is in Laser and LEDs applications in Health Sciences. Besides, I worked as Optical Engineer at Opto Space and Defense developing space technology and mainly I built abilities in optical design software as Zemax, CODE V and FRED. Regarding the software FRED, Im certificate with the Introductory tutorial provided by Photon Engineering. Besides, I developed knowledge about analysis of performance of optical design, optical aberrations, stray light, optimization of optical systems and radiometry for UV and IR systems. I also have experience with Fizeau Interferometers such Zygo and interferometry analysis for aerospace technology alignment. Regarding my scientific experience, I graduated with B.S. in Physics with emphasis in Optics and Photonics in 2019 and received my M.S degree in Theoretical and Experimental Physics in 2022 from University of São Paulo, Brazil. I am currently pursing my Ph.D. at the same University under supervision of Prof. Leonardo De Boni. My research is focused on the study and characterization of organic molecules through linear and nonlinear spectroscopy techniques. Since my Bachelors, I have been working with different kinds of spectroscopy technique and materials. During my undergraduate time I worked with photonic glasses, and I study its nonlinear refractive index through the tunable femtosecond Z-Scan technique and its vibrational properties through FTIR and Raman spectroscopy. Throughout my scientific career, I developed solid experience with optical experimental setup and chemistry laboratory, handing of organic compounds, data analysis, scientific writing, and oral communication. Furthermore, I am a curious researcher and I like scientific challenges.
