Viktar Krasnaproshyn

Born in 1947, graduated from the Belarusian State University in 1974. Received PhD degree in "Mathematical Cybernetics" in 1979 and Doctor of Sciences degree in "Theoretical Foundations of Computer Science" in 2007. Professor of the Belarusian State University. From 1986 till now -- Head of the Department of Information Management Systems, Belarusian State University. In 1991 founded the Research Laboratory "Information Technology and Computer Graphics." Main scientific fields: Artificial Intelligence, Pattern Recognition, Information and Computer Technology. The author of over 220 scientific publications, including 4 monographs. From 1992 -- scientific editor of "New Mathematical Models and Methods to Manage" (7 books published). Editorial Board member of national and international scientific journals: "Journal of BSU", "Informatics", "Machine Graphics & Vision", "Fuzzy Economic Review", "Selguk Journal of Applied Mathematics". Research interests: Theory of Decision-Making, Pattern Recognition, Image Analysis, Knowledge-based Decision Support Systems, etc.
