Soraia Carvalho Abreu

Pós Doutoranda em terapia celular e medicina regenerativa sob supervisão da Professora Patrícia Rieken Macedo Rocco, no Laboratório de Investigação Pulmonar, Instituto de Biofísica Carlos Chagas Filho (IBCCF), da Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ). Pós-doutorado em medicina regenerativa e bioengenharia, sob supervisão Dr Daniel Weiss, na Faculdade de Medicina da Universidade de Vermont (Estados Unidos). Pós Doutorado (Bolsa Pós Doutorado Nota 10 - FAPERJ) em terapia celular e medicina regenerativa sob supervisão da Professora Patrícia Rieken Macedo Rocco, no Laboratório de Investigação Pulmonar, IBCCF, UFRJ (2013). Professora Visitante do IBCCF, UFRJ de 2013-2015. Doutora em Ciências Biológicas (Fisiologia), IBCCF, UFRJ (2013). Mestre em Ciências Biológicas (Fisiologia) pelo IBCCF, UFRJ (2009). Graduada em Fisioterapia pela Faculdade de Medicina da UFRJ (2006). Está vinculada a projetos de pesquisa relacionados a fisiologia e fisiopatologia pulmonar, terapia celular e medicina regenerativa, tendo publicado com primeira autoria 11 artigos plenos em revistas indexadas, 21 outros artigos como co-autora em revistas indexadas e 2 capítulo como co-autora em livros nacionisl. Professora colaboradora na UFRJ. Premiada pela American Thoracic Society em 2018, 2017, 2016 e 2010 e comtemplada com a verba Universal CNPq - Faixa A (R$ 30.000.00 - 2014-2016), auxílio instalação FAPERJ (2014.2) e bolsa de PAPD FAPERJ (2015). Domina técnicas utilizadas em pesquisa biomédica, como medidas fisiológicas de avaliação da função pulmonar, técnicas de cultivo e análise celular e técnicas de avaliação molecular. Atualmente, tem como interesse principalmente a busca de possiveis alternativas para a potencializacao dos efeitos da terapia celular em patologias pulmonares sem um tratamento efetivo, tais como: asma, enfisema, fibrose cistica e sindrome do desconforto respiratorio agudo, através da análise do perfil molecular das células estimuladas bem como de seu meio condicionado e vesículas extracelulares por elas liberadas.

Papel Da Eferocitose De Células Estromais Mesenquimais Apoptóticas Geradas Ex Vivo Em Modelo Experimental De Asma Alérgica, Descrição: Estudo pré-clínico cujo objetivo é avaliar o efeito da eferocitose de células estromais mesenquimais apoptóticas geradas ex vivo na imunomodulação dos processos inflamatório e de remodelamento característicos em modelo experimental de asma alérgica, visto que os diversos estudos clínicos publicados nesse cenário apresenta resultados controversos que podem ser explicados justamente pelo grau de células citotóxicas por tais pacientes que por sua fez podem gerar uma maior ou menor apontose e consequentemente promover uma imunomodulação efetiva ou não.
