Sandrine Isolde Duchemin

Sou Médica Veterinária formada pela UniFAA - Valença/RJ (2009). Possuo duplo-mestrado em Genética e Melhoramento Animal (European Master in Animal Breeding and Genetics - EMABG, financiado pela Comissão Européia via Erasmus Mundus) pela Wageningen University (2011) e pela AgroParisTech (2011). Possuo doutorado em Genética e Melhoramento Animal (European Graduate School in Animal Breeding and Genetics EGS-ABG, financiado pela Comissão Européia via Erasmus Mundus) pela Wageningen University (2016).O título do meu Doutorado é o "Mapeamento e mapeamento fino dos fatores genéticos que afeteam a composição leiteria dos bovinos". O doutorado foi devidamente revalidado pela Universidade de Viçosa em 2018. Sou, ainda, pós-doutora na aréa de genômica computacional aplicado aos bovinos leiteiros. Meu pós-doutorado foi realizado na Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU/Suécia) (2016-2019). Tenho experiência na área de Zootecnia, com ênfase em Genética e Melhoramento dos Animais Domésticos, e com especialidade em genética quantitativa, big data (e.g., sequências genéticas e imputação), e atuo principalmente nos seguintes temas: composição leiteira e propriedades de coagulação, detecção de genes, seleção genômica e não- coagulação leiteira.
