Raghavendra Hallur Lakshmana Shetty

Raghavendra HL, completed his PhD in Biochemistry from Kuvempu University, Karnataka, India. Currently, he is serving as FEPESP Postdoctoral Fellow on the project entitled ?Biochemical, protein and immunohistochemistry markers of muscle fiber and extracellular matrix of the rectus abdominal muscle of pregnant women with hyperglycemia? at Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics, Botucatu Medical School (FMB), São Paulo State University (UNESP), CEP18618-687, Sao Paulo, Brazil under the guidance of Prof. Emérita Marilza Vieira Cunha Rudge and Prof. Iracema de Mattos Paranhos Calderon. Previously, he was serving as Associate Professor in College of Health Sciences and Publication and Dissemination Director of Wollega University, Nekemte, Ethiopia. He received 5 Outstanding Presentation Award from International Conferences and awarded with best employer of Wollega University for 5 times. He is also the Life Member various scientific societies, Editor in Chief and Advisory Board member for more than 8 journals. He got sanctioned with more than 10 research projects. He published more than 90 articles, organizing secretary/member for more than 15 conferences and presented paper in more than 30 national and international conferences. He chaired/co-chaired a session for 8 national/international conferences. He also worked as Analytical Chemist, Chemist and Inspector, Project fellow under UGC major research project, Scientist and Assistant Professor at Micro Labs Ltd., Caleb Brett India Pvt. Ltd., Kuvempu University, Bioneeds India Pvt. Ltd., Mallige College of Pharmacy respectively. His research interests include Phytochemistry, Pharmacology, Diabetes, Oxidative Stress, Bioavailability, Pharmacokinetics, Anticancer Drug Action, Drug Discovery and Delivery and Toxicology.
