Thales Augusto Pupo West

Professor associado do Departamento de Geografia Ambiental e Instituto de Pesquisas Ambientais (IVM) da universidade VU Amasterdam e membro do Centro de Governança Ambiental, Energia e Recursos Naturais (C-EENRG) da Universidade de Cambridge, na Inglaterra. Minha linha de pesquisa foca a sustentabilidade de sistemas sócio-ecológicos e temas como e desmatamento e uso da terra, economia e manejo de recursos naturais, avaliação de impactos de iniciativas e políticas de conservação e desenvolvimento, governança climática e esquemas de pagamentos por serviços ambientais, em particular, créditos de carbono e REDD+.
