Stanislaw Gorlow

Stanislaw received the B.Eng. degree in Information Technology from the Technische Hochschule Nürnberg, Germany, in 2007, the M.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology from the Technische Universität Ilmenau, Germany, in 2010, and the Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from the Université de Bordeaux, France, in 2013. Between 2013 and 2015, He was a postdoctoral researcher in 1) the Music Technology Group (MTG) at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona, Spain, and 2) at Sony Computer Science Laboratory (CSL) in Paris, France. At present, he is with Dolby Sweden in Stockholm. He spent his military service with the German Army in Amberg between 2001 and 2002. During the period between 2005 and 2007, he was with Dolby Germany in different positions. In 2009, in parallel to his studies, he assisted in the Communications Research Laboratory (CRL) at the Technische Universität Ilmenau. He prepared his thesis on ?Reverse Audio Engineering for Active Listening and Other Applications? between 2010 and 2013 in the Laboratoire Bordelais de Recherche en Informatique (LaBRI) including a two-month stay in the Centre for Digital Music (C4DM) at Queen Mary, University of London, UK. His research interests are in digital music and audio signal processing and related fields. Dr. Gorlow is a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and of the Audio Engineering Society (AES).
