Álvaro Manuel de Carvalho Caldas

Possui graduação em Medicina e residência médica em Pediatria pela Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais, mestrado e especialização em Reumatologia Pediátrica pela Universidade Federal de São Paulo. Com larga experiência clínica, desenvolveu pesquisa clínica em doenças autoimunes (diagnóstico por imagem e terapias moleculares inovadoras). Há mais de uma década atua em Oncologia na indústria farmacêutica, com experiência em gestão médica, inovação e desenvolvimento de novas terapias e pesquisa clínica com padrão ICH/GCP e HEOR. Tem interesse nas áreas de Medicina personalizada e de precisão, desenvolvimento de medicamentos, imuno-oncologia, terapias alvo-moleculares, ensaios clínicos, estudos clínicos adaptativos, biomarcadores.

Expressão de biomarcador prognóstico e preditivo de resposta terapêutica para câncer colorretal metastático (CCRm), Descrição: O objetivo geral deste projeto de pesquisa é investigar a expressão do gene um fator de transcrição em pacientes com câncer colorretal metastático e sua correlação com lateralidade de apresentação do tumor e mutações gênicas.
