É P.h.D em Ciência da Computação pela UFOP (Universidade Federal de Ouro Preto) - DECOM (Departamemto de Computação). É sócio fundador da LinuxPlace (www.linuxplace.com.br), onde atua até o momento como Diretor de Pesquisa e Desenvolvimento. Desenvolvedor de API Web e especialista em redes Wireless. Contribui em pesquisas ligadas a Blockchain , IoT e redes Wireless de baixa potência no laboratório IMOBILIS UFOP DECOM. Atua como evangelizador e divulgador de tecnologias baseadas em software livre e adoção de cloud computing. Atualmente atua em pesquisa e desenvolvimento de arquiteturas para migração para Cloud Computing. Suas pesquisas são compostas principalmente nos seguintes temas: Blockchain, Smart Cities, IoT, Ethereum.
