Tem experiência na área de Química, com ênfase em Quimica de Materias. Resumo Completo: Lazarus Jason Deiner is an associate professor of chemistry at the New York City College of Technology (City Tech), a campus of the City University of New York (CUNY). During his time at City Tech, Professor Deiner has also served for six summers (2010, 2011, 2012, 2016, 2017, and 2018) as a Summer Faculty Fellow at the Air Force Research Labs at the Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, and as a Visiting Researcher at the Chemical Institute of Sao Carlos (IQSC) of the University of Sao Paulo (USP). Prior to his employment at CUNY, Prof. Deiner was an ink formulation chemist at Hewlett-Packard, Inc. Prof. Deiner earned a B.A. degree in Chemistry from Wesleyan University (1997) with a thesis on computational quantum chemistry, and a doctoral degree in Chemistry from Harvard University (2003) with a thesis on surface science studies of catalytic NOx reduction. Prof. Deiner performed post-doctoral work in pedagogy at the Derek Bok Center for Teaching and Learning (Harvard University) and post-doctoral work in surface electrochemistry at IQSC/USP. Prof. Deiner's research focus is additive manufacturing of functional polymeric, ceramic, and composite materials. His current projects focus on inkjet and aerosol jet printing of electrochemical devices for energy conversion and storage, particularly lithium ion batteries and proton exchange membrane fuel cells. He serves on the editorial board of Advanced Engineering Materials.
