Hime Aguiar e Oliveira Junior

Possui doutorado em Engenharia Elétrica pela Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (2008) e pós-doutorado pela mesma Instituição (2009). Sua pesquisa atual utiliza resultados de Topologia Geral e Diferencial, Teoria da Medida, Teoria Ergódica e Processos Estocásticos para solução de problemas de otimização global de funções numéricas através de curvas que preenchem espaço (space-filling curves), transformações que preservam medida, variedades topológicas e simulated annealing. Importantes desdobramentos foram obtidos na aplicação de métodos de otimização global ao projeto de Engenharia e à determinação de equilíbrios de Nash generalizados, assim como em jogos estratégicos finitos na forma normal. Atualmente a pesquisa é concentrada nas seguintes linhas: - Aplicações de espaços fibrados (fibre bundles) e variedades topológicas em modelagem de sistemas fuzzy e síntese de métodos para otimização global de funções; - Utilização de técnicas de otimização global evolucionária para projeto reverso de jogos finitos com equilíbrios de Nash preestabelecidos (mechanism design).; - Projeto baseado em otimização global - inferência artificial, aprendizado global automático e tópicos relacionados.
