  GRETA understandinG tRansboundary climatE adapTation in brAzil, Descrição: Context/Rationale Recent research highlights that adaptation tends to focus exclusively on the local and direct impacts of climate change and misses the crucial dimension of transboundary climate risk, which all countries are likely to face, regardless of their level of development. Furthermore, there are still significant knowledge gaps related to many aspects of adaptation, which present challenges, particularly for developing countries. Therefore, urgent action is needed, based on the gap of knowledge and good practices to leverage, accelerate and expand the necessary interventions for adapting and building resilience at various levels. Furthermore, the potential for residual risks and maladaptive outcomes, combined with unexpected effects of climate change, is high, in a dynamic reality where part of the provisions on mitigation and adaptation in the UNFCCC may be reinterpreted, taking into account Article 8 of the Paris Agreement, which redefines the limits of adaptation under the concepts of LossDamage. We employ interdisciplinary approaches, based on an empirical focus of analysis of diverse texts and official documents, cartographic data, legal and policy documents. Structuring our project in 6 Work Packages (PT) (Figure X). PT1 State of the Art Literature Review; PT2 Vulnerability and Resilience Analysis; PT3 Policy Analysis; PT4 Communication and Disclosure; PT5 Technical Training; and, PT6 Project Coordination and Management. GRETA aims to broaden the understanding of how the adaptation agenda interacts in a given context.   Desigualdade, pobreza e governança: uma agenda para Timor-Leste, Descrição: The Doctoral thesis - "Inequality, poverty and governance: an agenda for Timor-Leste" stems from an interest to assess the influence of key actors - NGOs, national governments and the United Nations System - in policy development, in developing countries that emerge from serious conflicts; in particular we search for solutions to deal with the problem of how to evaluate governance, policies and the development path in countries without reliable and structured data. It was expected to isolate and characterize diazotrophic bacteria, form Culture Collections, select strains of rhizobia tolerant to salinity and high temperature, identify functional groups of legumes, identify legume-rhizobia interactions, evaluate the occurrence of these interactions at two times of the year, characterize the seasonal pattern of activity of the rhizobia, to know the network of interactions between the rhizobia found in the caatinga, to indicate key species through the identification of legumes. Projeto de dissertação apresentado ao Programa de Pós-Graduação em Ecologia e Recursos Naturais do Departamento de Biologia da Universidade Federal do Ceará, como parte dos requisitos para a conclusão do curso de Mestrado.
